What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality banqueting menus
• Assisting with mise en place, plating, and service during busy event operations
• Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Ensuring all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Working collaboratively with chefs at all levels to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• Demonstrating enthusiasm, reliability, and a commitment to learning and development

What we’re looking for:

• Some previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a banqueting, hotel, or high-volume catering environment
• A genuine passion for food, presentation, and guest satisfaction
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events-based shifts.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, with a Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
