In this high-impact role, you’ll partner closely with our Director of Commercial, Northern Europe to drive success across sales, marketing, loyalty, PR, distribution, and relationship management. From supporting new hotel openings and conversions to boosting performance across multiple KPIs, you’ll be at the heart of bringing our regional strategy to life.

What you’ll do

  • Champion commercial performance across managed and franchised properties, aligning with Europe-wide priorities.
  • Embed commercial tools and processes, ensuring best practice is shared across teams and markets.
  • Lead and deliver business reviews that provide insight, direction, and tangible impact.
  • Partner with global Lifecycle & Growth teams to make every new opening and conversion a success.
  • Support hotel pre-opening sales & marketing plans, coordinate communications, and ensure a seamless launch.
  • Track post-opening performance, influencing strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and long-term growth.
  • Foster engagement and alignment across the region by planning and delivering communication through newsletters, forums, cascade calls, and other key touchpoints.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven expertise in international hotel sales and marketing, with strong strategic and project management expertise.
  • Good working knowledge of systems and the ability to understand and drive outcomes within the IHG network 
  • Possesses strong market insight and understands the complexities of operating across diverse regions, with a high level of cultural awareness.
  • A commercially sharp, outcomes-driven mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to thrive in an autonomous environment, transforming vision and ideas into measurable results.
  • Partnership-oriented and adept at building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A problem solver and innovator, always ready to learn, adapt, and lead with impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, as the role involves preparing presentation materials for hotel review meetings.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with the flexibility to travel up to 40%.
