Duties and Responsibilities  

As  Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia , I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. With the support of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, my key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieves budgeted occupancy, rate and revenue.  

The duties and responsibilities will include:  

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across the assigned territories.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, pro-active approach to driving revenue performance. 
  • Work closely with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team, collaborating on account planning and sales activations to help drive revenue performance into the cluster properties.
  • Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support our market share.
  • Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentation, and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of the cluster properties. 
    Account Management.
  • Manage and key relationships with existing accounts, focusing on luxury consortia agencies, travel advisors, and other high-value partners. 
  • Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, Six Senses and Luxury and Lifestyle Road shows and trade events.
  • Proactively address client needs as needed, acting is a primary liaison between the client and the properties to ensure a seamless experience on behalf of the guest.
  • Write and implement the sales plan, contracting, setting sales targets by segment and by client and prospect, undertaking advertising, sales, promotions and publicity initiatives, working with the revenue manager for setting rates, and directing the Sales team.  
  • Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort and spa and for Six Senses.  
  • Constantly assess sales strategies and tactics to remain relevant and effective.  
  • Establish and deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.  
  • Operate the properties consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the properties.  

Qualifications

To execute the position of Cluster Director of Sales - Saudi Arabia , I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:  

Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Journalism or Communications and more than five years’ experience in a marketing and communications role in travel, hospitality or luxury goods background, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Fluent in Arabic and English.
