Your day to day
- Supervise and mentor the concierge team.
- Provide training, delegate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
- Handle high-profile or complex guest requests, including special arrangements, reservations, and personalized services.
- Ensure that all guest interactions are managed with the utmost care and attention.
- Oversee daily concierge operations, including managing guest requests, coordinating with other hotel departments, and maintaining service standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to concierge services.
- Ensure that all problems are handled promptly and effectively to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, attractions, and service providers.
- Leverage these connections to offer guests exclusive deals, recommendations, and access to local experiences.
- Monitor guest feedback and concierge performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and service enhancements to continuously improve the guest experience.
Guest Experience
Your role is crucial in creating memorable and personalized experiences for guests. By leading the concierge team effectively and managing complex requests with professionalism, you enhance guest satisfaction and contribute significantly to the hotel's reputation.
Responsible Business
You will support our commitment to responsible business practices by ensuring efficient and ethical operations within the concierge department. This includes managing resources responsibly, promoting sustainability, and upholding company policies and values.
Financial
• Monitor the resolution of issues and expenses related to operational supplies to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost for supplies and labor.
• Participates in the planning of departmental goals as they relate to the wider hotel strategy.
What we need from you
- Education: High School or Vocational Certificate or equivalent.
- Service years in the field: 1-2 years of experience in Front Office management at a 5-star resort, preferably with a background in luxury properties.
- Knowledge and skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational and multitasking abilities, familiarity OPERA or hotel booking systems, leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team, a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Membership of Les Clef D’or is a plus.
