Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

  • Oversee daily accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Income Audit.
  • Ensure timely month-end closing, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.

Compliance & Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance with IHG accounting policies, local tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness at all times.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Monitor adherence to financial procedures and approval processes.

Cash Flow & Balance Sheet Management

  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and working capital management.
  • Ensure proper control over receivables, payables, and hotel assets.
  • Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support the accounting team, including AP, AR, and General Cashier.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and accountability within the team.

Budgeting & Financial Support

  • Assist in the preparation of the hotel’s annual budget, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Support the Director of Finance in financial planning and reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Experience with hotel accounting systems preferred
  • Good command of English and Thai
  • CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
