Day-to-Day Responsibilities
American Cuisine Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of American fine dining, including classic and modern culinary techniques, to deliver exceptional dishes.
Menu Execution: Prepare and execute authentic and contemporary American dishes as per the menu, ensuring consistency and creativity in presentation.
Station Management: Oversee your assigned section of the kitchen, maintaining efficiency and high standards during service.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. Follow strict sanitation protocols in compliance with local health regulations.
Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels for your section, report shortages, and assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef and other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Morning Routine
Early Start: Begin preparations for mise en place for breakfast and lunch service.
Setup: Organize your workstation with all necessary tools and ingredients.
Production
Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of American fine dining dishes, including steaks, seafood, and signature specialties.
Recipe Execution: Follow established recipes and techniques to maintain consistency.
Special Orders: Handle custom requests for events or guest preferences.
Quality Control
Tasting: Regularly taste dishes to ensure quality.
Presentation: Plate dishes with attention to detail and aesthetics.
Collaboration
Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with other chefs to maintain workflow.
Event Support: Assist in creating special menus for events and holidays.
Customer Interaction
Guest Engagement: Occasionally interact with guests during tastings or special events.
Feedback: Collect feedback to improve dishes and service.
Administrative Tasks
Inventory: Track ingredients for your section and report needs.

Requirements
Education: Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a similar role within a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
Background: Strong exposure to American fine dining concepts.
Language: English fluency required; additional languages preferred.
