The Chef de Cuisine (Arabic) is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, with a special emphasis on Arabic cuisine. This role requires excellent leadership, culinary expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with Arabic-speaking staff and guests. The ideal candidate will ensure high culinary standards, consistent food quality, and adherence to health and safety regulations while maintaining a productive and collaborative kitchen environment.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Develop and maintain menus with a focus on authentic Arabic dishes, while also incorporating international cuisine as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, especially Arabic-speaking team members.
• Communicate clearly with staff and guests in Arabic when necessary to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations in all kitchen areas.
• Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage management team on menu planning, budgeting, and food promotions.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and order in the kitchen at all times.
• Participate in the hiring and performance evaluation of kitchen personnel.
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through consistent culinary excellence and attention to detail.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or luxury restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
