What is the job?

To ensure the preparation and cooking of authentic, high-quality Lebanese dishes in line with hotel standards. Responsible for consistency in recipes, presentation, and hygiene, while supporting the Sous Chef in menu development, staff scheduling, and maintaining the highest guest satisfaction.

Nationality: Lebanese.

Your day to day

Supervise, coordinate, and participate in the preparation of Lebanese specialties, daily menus, theme nights, banquets, and other assigned outlets.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes, maintaining authenticity, taste, and presentation quality.
Support the Sous Chef in the development and updating of the Lebanese menu, contributing creative ideas and ensuring recipes are documented and followed.
Regularly assist in reviewing and updating food presentation styles to maintain a modern and appealing look.
Assist in organizing staff schedules for the Lebanese section and ensure effective team performance.
Observe, taste, and check all food items during preparation to guarantee quality and consistency.
Review daily menus, par stocks, and requisitions to ensure the section is well supplied and organized.
Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in all working areas, utensils, and equipment.
Ensure strict compliance with the hotel’s cost control, hygiene, and food safety policies.
Train and coach Commis Chefs and junior team members in Lebanese cooking techniques, recipe standards, and service excellence.
Support the Sous Chef in handling guest feedback and resolving any food-related issues promptly.
Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, and adherence to hotel standards at all times.
Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
Deputize for the Sous Chef during his/her absence when assigned.
Perform any other duties or special projects as required by management.
