Join Us as a Catering Manager at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel)

We are seeking a versatile and well-organized Catering Manager to join our team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This dynamic role requires extensive experience in event catering and a passion for delivering cost-effective services that exceed guest expectations. As our Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our event catering services, building good relationships with customers, and leading a dedicated team to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers to determine their requirements and propose suitable catering options.
  • Plan menus and oversee all preparations for the venue, equipment, food, and service.
  • Hire, train, and supervise all catering staff, including managing employee work schedules.
  • Oversee event execution, including seating arrangements, meal and beverage service, and the clearing of tables.
  • Monitor catering stock and supplies, and place orders for replenishment as needed.
  • Track all catering expenses and maintain precise financial records.
  • Ensure full adherence to all food and health industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay current with catering trends to promote and deliver competitive catering services.

Requirements:

  • An accredited course in catering management or a similar field.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or business management is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a catering management role or similar.
  • Proven experience in hiring, training, and supervising catering staff.
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in the catering management industry.
  • Exceptional ability to deliver catering services on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with customers, chefs, and suppliers.
  • The ability to apply industry knowledge to continuously improve catering services.
