Casual Banquet Attendant

We’re searching for a Casual Food and Beverage Attendant in Banquets who is responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service during events. This role involves setting up, serving, and cleaning up after banquets and ensuring guests have an excellent experience. You will work closely with the Conference and Duty Manager to ensure all conferences and events run smoothly and to the highest standard.

A little taste of your day-to-day: 

• Creating a warm welcome for every single client and guest that sets the tone for their experience with us 
• Provide high-quality food and beverage service following banquet operation standards.
• Preparing and serving drinks in a prompt manner
• Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment 
• Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly 
• Reading banquet Event orders and interpreting for set-up and guest service

 What we need from you: 

• Previous experience in F&B service is proffered. 
• The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling 
• Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories 
• The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays  
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (SA/Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate 
• The unrestricted right to work in Australia
