The CRFP Specialist, Level 2, works with hotels throughout the preparation and negotiation of the RFP process, to help participating hotels improve their negotiation and commercial performance.
Your day to day
Working with hotels participating in the CRFP program to make sure they are well-prepared for the RFP season. This includes education on processes, tools and the corporate travel segment and strategies.
Encouraging hotels to review rate plans for their accounts before the RFP launches.
Collecting any other relevant information from hotels or other stakeholders (such as off-property account owners) before the RFP launches.
Following CRFP standard operating procedures.
Using systems and tools including bespoke IHG tools as well as standard MS Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
Analyzing and interpreting data.
Negotiating RFPs, using a range of data, customer and hotel insights, and commercial savvy.
Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained, even during peak volumes.
Explaining (if asked) the rationale behind rates you have negotiated; taking what can be complicated and describing it in simple terms to help others understand.
Creating a positive perception among target stakeholders of the way CRFP works, and the results it delivers, through your own professional, capable approach and communication.
Maintaining a professional and calm approach even in high-pressure situations.
Sharing ideas for continuous improvement on CRFP approach and ways of working.
Flexibility in working hours required during peak periods.
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.
Customer service experience required.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Sales experience preferred.
Analytics experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to create queries and reports in Excel.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of a business.
Able to handle multiple tasks, and to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
A professional and positive attitude toward work and customer relationships and service. Self-starter, self-motivated and reliable work ethic.
Commercially aware and results-oriented.
Independent problem-solver who is able to effectively judge when to escalate for awareness and/or support.
Team player who measures success collectively as well as personally.
Business fluent in the language of the country in which you are based. Business fluent in English. Fluency in additional language(s) may be required.
Location – Atlanta, GA; Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $46,226.00 to $68,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
