We’re looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue across corporate, meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE). You’ll identify new business opportunities, build strong client partnerships, and convert leads into long-term success for the hotel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering results while creating memorable client experiences.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively source and convert new corporate, MICE and event business
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and industry partners
  • Conduct site inspections, client meetings and networking activities
  • Develop tailored proposals and negotiate to secure business
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and identify new market opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences

 

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in sales or business development (hospitality experience a prefered)
  • A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills
  • Confident in negotiating and closing deals
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for growing revenue and market share
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
  • Experience with systems like Delphi or Opera is advantageous
