- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
- Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members, VIP and returning guests by name
- Have a polite and friendly demeanour at all times
- Deliver, collect and assist all guest with their luggage
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide an in-room orientation
- Assist guests with any hotel or tour information they may require during their stay
- Assist with room moves
- Always know what events and activities are on the day's schedule
What we need from you
Communication skills and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities
Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers
QUALIFICATION –Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification would be beneficia;
Flexibility as night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
You’ll have a current clean driver’s license
Ideally you’ll have spent at least one year in a similar position
Strength - sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects and heavy items not exceeding 32kgs. This can involve bending and kneeling
Able to travel on boats without sea sickness
