Bartender

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare and serve mocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes.
• Upsell premium products and promote resort signature drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, and work area at all times.
• Ensure bar setup and breakdown follows resort SOPs.
• Monitor and restock bar inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Accurately process orders using the POS system and handle guest billing.
• Collaborate with beach service team for efficient guest service and order delivery.
• Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Represent the InterContinental brand professionally, maintaining grooming and uniform standards.
• Provide general assistance and resort information to guests when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a luxury beach or resort setting.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and drink presentation.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and POS handling skills.
• Good physical condition – able to stand for long periods and work outdoors.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
