Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, is looking for a service oriented Food & Beverage Barista to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park has 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

Your day to day

• Prepare and serve a wide range of handcrafted coffee beverages, specialty teas, and seasonal drinks in accordance with IHG brand standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. 

• Deliver exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming guests, taking orders accurately, recommending menu items, and proactively addressing guest needs. 

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene by ensuring all workstations are organized, sanitized, and compliant with Dubai Municipality and IHG requirements. 

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance, coordinating with the Maintenance team to promptly resolve any equipment-related issues. 

• Manage inventory and stock control by monitoring product levels, applying FIFO procedures, minimizing waste, merchandising café displays, processing POS transactions accurately, and contributing to overall cost efficiency and operational excellence. 

• Build positive relationships with hotel guests, long-stay residents, and local professionals by actively gathering feedback and addressing service requirements in a timely and professional manner. 

• Adhere to all hotel safety, sustainability, and operational procedures by reporting hazards, accidents, maintenance concerns, and equipment defects promptly to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

What we need from you

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of barista experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, high-volume cafe, or specialty coffee outlet in Dubai/UAE.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in espresso preparation, manual milk steaming, dial-in calibration, and basic latte art.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; formal barista certification (e.g., SCA) or hospitality diploma is preferred.

• Certifications: Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification compliant with Dubai Municipality rules (or willing to obtain upon join).

• Communication: Strong English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.

• Customer Service: Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong guest-first mindset suited for a busy corporate and leisure hotel environment.

• Flexibility: Ability to work shifts including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
