Holiday Inn Express Pokhara is a modern, internationally branded hotel located near Lakeside Road, close to Pokhara’s key tourist and commercial areas. The hotel offers 90 comfortable guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, bar & lounge, lobby lounge, a 213 sqm meeting and events space, and a fitness centre.

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bar Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. The role involves serving drinks, assisting guests, maintaining the bar area, and supporting the overall guest experience while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
 
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests, ensuring a positive bar experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, utensils, and workstations.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Support events and busy service periods, collaborating with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including responsible alcohol service.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, offering recommendations on drinks and bar menu items.

 

What We need from you:

  • Previous experience in a bar or F&B environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and beverage service.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
