At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Back of House Runner to join the team our team in Theo Randall’s award-winning Italian Restaurant, with an immediate start!

We are looking for an energetic and organized Back of House Runner. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and the floor team, supporting the delivery of exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a crucial link between the kitchen and front of house, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes to the service team.
• Coordinate and manage multiple menu styles (à la carte, tasting menus, private dining) during service.
• Maintain clear communication with chefs and floor staff to manage flow and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness and order in the back of house pass area.
• Support the team during both lunch and dinner services, with primary focus on dinner shifts.
• Adapt quickly to the pace and flow of a high-volume service environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a runner in a high-paced restaurant is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexible availability, especially during evenings and weekends
• A proactive and positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
