Key Responsibilities
Financial Returns
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow room, banquet, and F&B revenues.
- Assist in monitoring competitor activity and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of the Sales & Marketing budget.
People
- Manage assigned accounts and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests and groups.
- Work with the wider IHG regional sales teams for cross-selling opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at sales calls, trade shows, and networking events when required.
Guest Experience
- Provide potential clients with accurate information on hotel facilities, services, and IHG Rewards programs.
- Support in planning and organizing events, meetings, and group bookings.
- Uphold Holiday Inn Express service culture by ensuring each interaction reflects care, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Proactively seek feedback to enhance guest and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within an international hotel brand.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English required (additional languages preferred).
- Good knowledge of local market trends and business segments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel for client meetings, sales calls, and promotional activities.
