About the Role
As Assistant Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for all activities relevant to Reservations including assisting with enquiries and bookings, liaising with key departments, establishing strong relationships with our clients, and displaying exceptional phone and customer service skills. Positively delivering an exceptional customer experience will remain at the forefront whilst you effectively manage various financial and business requirements of the department. Team management will be an exciting part of your role as you drive operational performance through coaching and feedback and foster an excellent working environment to achieve success.
*Please note this position is based at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove.
What we need from you
- Three years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office management or as a supervisor in a luxury Resort.
- Comprehension of Hotel systems and revenue management principles.
- Strategic and tactical thinking – the ability to develop strategic plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets, and deliver projects on time.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Concerto and NOR1 highly desirable
- Previous experience using Opera PMS essential
