Auckland has welcomed New Zealand’s first Hotel Indigo to the neighbourhood. The “City of Sails” has set the backdrop for this boutique upper-upscale hotel, drawing inspiration from local artists for its design, service, amenities, food and beverage. The 225-room hotel is a part of a mixed-use development in Auckland Central, with stunning views of the city and Auckland’s iconic harbour. 

Our guests arrive from all corners of the globe, which means our hotel runs 24/7 to be able to welcome them to the neighbourhood. Our Front Office team is searching for a passionate night owl to join our team as an Assistant Night Manager. In this role you'll assist the team to oversee the hotel's night operations, taking responsibility for the safety and security of guests and colleagues and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function. 

What we need from you

• A desire and ability to work a rotating roster, covering the night shift
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A demonstrated reputation for being a positive team player, with a passion for guest experience
• Prior experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
• A passion for curating extraordinary guest experiences
• Full working rights within New Zealand with no restrictions
