Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for an Assistant Night Manager to grow a great team. As Assistant Night Manager, you’ll support the Night Manager in coordinating and overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift. Your key focus will be guest safety and security, along with the accurate and timely completion of the night audit.
A little taste of your day to day
- Ensure clear and consistent communication between shifts and colleagues.
- Oversee night audit functions and preparation of daily report
- Deliver exceptional guest service by assisting with enquiries, managing check-ins/outs, overseeing night audit procedures, and ensuring smooth overnight operations.
- Monitor hotel safety, standards, and cleanliness through regular inspections, handling complaints, supporting Front Office procedures, and coordinating with the Nights team
- Support the Night Manager in leading the night team by supervising colleagues, managing handovers, maintaining accurate records (cash handling, credit checks, reports etc.), and communicating key issues for the next shift.
- Supports and assists Front Office team

- Confident in Problem handling
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Opera
- Problem solving, training and organizational skills
