The Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager and Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the venue while leading the team during service.

You’ll be hands-on on the floor, helping the team deliver great service while ensuring the venue runs smoothly during busy periods.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and taking ownership of shifts, supporting up to 70 team members on roster

  • Providing direction, coaching and support so team members perform at their best

  • Supporting daily venue operations across food, beverage and gaming

  • Delivering excellent guest experiences and customer service

  • Maintaining strong service standards, venue presentation and atmosphere

  • Supporting training and development of team members

  • Assisting with functions, events and busy service periods

  • Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG and venue licensing requirements

  • Maintaining strong operational, safety and risk awareness on every shift

About You

You’re someone who enjoys leading people, working in a busy environment and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering great hospitality.

You will bring:

  • Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role in hospitality

  • Experience working in high-volume venues

  • A people-focused leadership style

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • RSA and RCG certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays

  • The legal right to work in Australia
