The Role
Reporting to the Venue Manager and Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the venue while leading the team during service.
You’ll be hands-on on the floor, helping the team deliver great service while ensuring the venue runs smoothly during busy periods.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and taking ownership of shifts, supporting up to 70 team members on roster
Providing direction, coaching and support so team members perform at their best
Supporting daily venue operations across food, beverage and gaming
Delivering excellent guest experiences and customer service
Maintaining strong service standards, venue presentation and atmosphere
Supporting training and development of team members
Assisting with functions, events and busy service periods
Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG and venue licensing requirements
Maintaining strong operational, safety and risk awareness on every shift
About You
You’re someone who enjoys leading people, working in a busy environment and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering great hospitality.
You will bring:
Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role in hospitality
Experience working in high-volume venues
A people-focused leadership style
Strong communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
RSA and RCG certification (or ability to obtain)
Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
The legal right to work in Australia
