Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
  • Assist the Director of Sales in setting and executing the hotel’s sales strategy across Rooms, Meetings & Events, and F&B outlets.
  • Develop and manage key accounts to maximize overall revenue potential, including corporate, leisure, MICE, social events, and local partnerships.
  • Proactively identify and develop F&B business opportunities, including group dining, special events, catering, weddings, and partnerships with local communities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to drive F&B promotions, seasonal campaigns, and media exposure.
  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment to strengthen relationships and generate new business.
Revenue Generation & Reporting
  • Work closely with Revenue Management to align sales efforts with pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance and F&B revenue results, ensuring alignment with budget and forecast.
  • Provide regular reports on Rooms and F&B revenue performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Support F&B managers with upselling strategies and ensure cross-selling opportunities between rooms and outlets.
Leadership & Team Support
  • Assist in supervising, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Act as the second-in-command to the Director of Sales, assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence.
  • Provide F&B-specific sales training to the team to enhance their knowledge of menus, concepts, and outlet offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with F&B leadership to build a strong synergy between service delivery and proactive selling.
Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners, travel partners, and local businesses.
  • Actively represent the hotel at networking functions, trade shows, and local events to promote both rooms and F&B offerings.
  • Ensure seamless communication between Sales, Events, and F&B teams to deliver memorable client experiences.
Financial Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual business plan, sales & marketing budget, and departmental forecasts.
  • Ensure achievement of revenue targets in Rooms and F&B outlets through effective account management and business development strategies.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budget and cost control measures.
