The ADOM must act as positive and proactive ambassador of the hotel and brand, always maintaining a close working rapport with external partners such as the press, media, staff, clients/guests and companies who are potential, existing and/or current supporters of the hotel. This covers but is not limited to:

  • Relevant Market Managers for hotel’s main OTAs (Agoda, Expedia, Booking, Ctrip, Hotelbeds etc.)
  • Press, Media, Bloggers & KOLs
  • Relevant members of applicable Foreign Chambers of Commerce
  • Potential clients and any potential people who could be clients of the hotel.
  • Other IHG properties in TH and EAPAC.
  • Relevant IHG Corporate Office roles in TH and EAPAC e.g. Country Leads, Brand Managers. Relevant contact persons within greater IHG ecosystem e.g. Concerto support 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Overall 

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to enhance the hotel’s brand positioning and drive revenue.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and guest experiences.
  • Plan and execute hotel-wide marketing campaigns for rooms, F&B, and events in collaboration with the Sales, Revenue & Reservations teams.
  • Manage partnerships with advertising agencies, designers, and media outlets for promotions and creative content.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and editorial content.
  • Organize and manage media events, press conferences, and influence collaborations to enhance brand awareness.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies that maximize ROI and align with latest hotel priorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee the marketing team, providing guidance and ensuring high performance.

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee the hotel’s website content, SEO strategy, and online presence incl. content on OTAs to maximize traffic and engagement.
  • Oversee development and execution of social media campaigns across key platforms, ensuring engaging content and audience growth.
  • Oversee development and execution of paid digital advertising campaigns (via agency or directly managed) to drive direct bookings and revenue.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing ROI.
  • Work closely with the IHG regional and corporate marketing teams to align with global brand initiatives.

Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Identify new market trends and opportunities to position the hotel as a preferred lifestyle destination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with brands, tourism boards, and lifestyle companies to enhance marketing reach.
  • Develop co-branded marketing initiatives with relevant partners to attract new guests and business opportunities.

PR & Brand Reputation

  • Monitor the hotel’s online reputation across review platforms (TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, etc.) and flag to Ops team for further handling/review response.
  • Handle crisis communication and PR responses to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Support MCM in ensuring guest feedback and complaints via social media are addressed professionally and effectively.
  • Quality & Environmental Responsibilities
  • Knows and applies IHG security and evacuation procedures (in case of fire, etc.)
  • Ensures the safety of the people and hotel assets within the office.
  • Monitor and oversees the quality of performance of their team following the set annual objectives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing & communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in the hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, brand strategies, and digital initiatives.
  • Experience working with media, PR agencies, influencers, and strategic partners.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media management, and paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Prior experience within an IHG property or an international hotel brand is an advantage.
  • Must speak local language. Other languages of advantage.
