Job number: 159772
Whether you’re starting out or stepping up, you’ll find support, purpose and the chance to grow through every challenge at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
We’re seeking an Analyst (EPM Support) to join our Finance Systems Support team in Branston, UK. This hands-on role sits at the heart of our Finance organisation, supporting critical reporting, forecasting and planning cycles. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across FP&A, Decision Support and Technology, helping ensure our EPM tools deliver accurate, timely and reliable outputs. This is a hybrid role that requires you to be in the Branston office 3 days per week.
In this role, you’ll act as the first point of contact for Finance users, providing day‑to‑day support across our EPM systems and reporting tools. You’ll play an essential part in ensuring that month‑end, forecasting and planning cycles run smoothly by executing data loads, validations, reconciliations and control checks with accuracy and attention to detail.
You’ll investigate and resolve system and data issues, escalating to Technology teams where needed, and you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Data and Technology to keep processes running efficiently and reliably. Supported by a culture of continuous improvement, you’ll also help identify opportunities to automate, simplify and standardise ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for Finance user queries relating to EPM systems and reporting tools.
- Provide day‑to‑day user support, managing frequent ad‑hoc questions, system queries and interruptions.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end and annual cycles, as well as forecasting and planning activities.
- Execute data loads, validations, reconciliations and control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness before release.
- Investigate and resolve system issues; escalate appropriately to Technology teams and ensure resolution within SLAs.
- Prepare and support SOX and audit evidence requirements.
- Identify and support opportunities to automate, simplify and standardise processes.
- Participate in testing, enhancements and release activities across EPM platforms.
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Technology and Data teams, acting as a trusted partner and connector across functions.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring Finance receives accurate and timely outputs from our EPM systems — supporting high‑quality decision‑making across the business. Your responsiveness and ownership mindset will underpin the reliability of key reporting cycles and strengthen the integrity of our financial data
What we’re looking for
- Experience supporting Finance users or systems in environments such as FP&A, reporting or data-led teams.
- Strong user support and service mindset — patient, approachable and responsive to constant queries.
- Clear communicator able to collaborate effectively with non‑technical users.
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivots and structured analysis.
- Detail-driven and control-minded approach, especially during reporting cycles.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities with high ownership and accountability.
- Exposure to EPM tools such as Oracle PBCS, PCMCS or similar (training provided).
- Curiosity and willingness to understand how systems, data flows and Finance processes interconnect.

- Travel benefits that include discounted room rates and food & beverage
