Step into a pivotal role at IHG, leading high-value partnerships and shaping the future of our global corporate sales strategy. As the Account Director – Corporate within the Global Sales function, you’ll manage a portfolio worth over $40M, partnering with our most prestigious corporate partnerships.

You’ll craft bold strategies, win market share, and deliver exceptional results across transient, group, and project segments - driving growth that fuels our brands worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and direct company resources to deliver exceptional results across our top global corporate and airline accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Direct and drive the account relationship, engaging account representatives and business functions in all your interactions, representing a 360 view of our account relationship.
  • Build influential relationships with senior decision-makers across multiple regions and business units.
  • Showcase and champion IHG’s brand differentiation through events, B2B marketing, and industry engagement.
  • Analyse data, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions for each client.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across sales, marketing, operations, and loyalty programs.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in global markets within the hospitality sector, with an understanding of regional nuances.
  • Strong sales leadership skills and a track record of driving revenue growth across corporate accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in franchise, managed, and owned business models.
  • Deep knowledge of the hotel industry and competitor landscape.
  • Demonstrated sales management experience in organising, planning, and executing large-scale sales segment plans, from conception through to implementation.
  • Possess end-to-end critical thinking skills: the ability to interpret & action data, articulate a business case, and evaluate ROI/financial impact of potential actions.
  • Confidence operating at board level, with exceptional negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and sales technology platforms.
