ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - REGENT PHU QUOC

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Finance in managing day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including Accounting, Purchasing, Payroll, and Cost Control.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts in compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.

Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial goals are achieved.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Support in preparing annual operating and capital budgets and monitor budget performance.

Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and payment transactions.

Act as a key liaison with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders when required.

Supervise, train, and mentor finance team members to ensure continuous development and high performance.

Serve as Acting Director of Finance in the absence of the Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CIMA certification preferred).

Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience in hospitality or service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and local tax regulations.

Proficient in financial systems and MS Office applications (experience with Opera, SUN, or similar hotel systems is an advantage).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong business acumen with a proactive and strategic mindset.
