hrough our hotel Manager in Training program you’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work alongside industry leaders, form connections across the larger MIT cohort, and network with some of our most senior business and operational leaders, all while building your own hotel operations and leadership capabilities.
IHG MITs are hosted across the US within a variety of property brands and locations, from bustling urban destinations to luxury resort markets – opening doors to opportunities across IHG’s global portfolio of over 6,000 hotels worldwide.

Our MIT Program is structured to give you hands-on experience across hotel and restaurant operations during your rotation, before settling into a supervisory role in an operational department. From there you can build your career with the right experience level into any of the following areas:

What you need to apply
By the time the program begins, you must have graduated within the previous year with a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Must be located within the city of a host hotel, or be location-flexible and willing to relocate to an MIT Program location. Some assistance may be provided depending on relocation distance
Must be available and relocated (if applicable) by the program timeframe starting from May or June 2026 through May 2027
You must bring a passion for hospitality and demonstrated leadership experience either via student-led organizations or associations, community service, or other work experience
