General Manager - Crowne Plaza Quang Binh City Centre

An exciting opportunity to lead the pre-opening of Crowne Plaza Quang Binh City Centre, targeted to open at the end of May 2027, and introduce a new upscale hospitality experience to the heart of Dong Hoi.

Located along Vietnam's north-central coast, Dong Hoi offers a unique blend of coastal charm, natural beauty and urban convenience. Known as a gateway to the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage-listed Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, the destination attracts leisure and adventure travellers while serving as an important centre for regional business and commerce.

Set in a prime riverfront location in Dong Hoi's city centre, the 250-room hotel will feature four dining venues, an outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, executive lounge and meeting facilities. Combining business convenience with leisure amenities, the hotel is positioned to cater to corporate and government travellers, domestic leisure guests, small-to-medium meetings and social events.

We are looking for a commercially astute hospitality leader to steer the hotel through its conversion and pre-opening journey, establish its competitive positioning and build a successful operation that delivers exceptional guest experiences and sustainable business performance.

The role

• Lead the hotel's pre-opening preparations, ensuring operational readiness, brand compliance and a successful launch.

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to establish the hotel's market presence, drive revenue growth and profitability.

• Capitalise on opportunities across Rooms, Food & Beverage, corporate, government, MICE and domestic leisure segments.

• Build relationships with local businesses, government organisations and key commercial partners to strengthen market share and generate demand.

• Recruit, develop and empower a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and service excellence.

• Work closely with ownership, IHG and key stakeholders to deliver business objectives, maintain financial discipline and maximise long-term asset value.

What we need from you

• Extensive leadership experience within an internationally branded upscale or upper-upscale, full-service hotel environment.

• Previous pre-opening or hotel conversion experience is preferred, with the ability to drive operational planning, team development and opening readiness.

• Commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue, profitability and business growth across corporate, government, MICE and leisure segments.

• Sound understanding of the Vietnamese hospitality market, supported by established local business networks.

• Proven ability to build high-performing teams, develop local talent and deliver operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work effectively with hotel owners, corporate teams and local business partners.
   
• Fluency in Vietnamese is essential.
