As a Weddings Manager, you will make sure strategies to source and drive Weddings are formulated and executed, tools and resources are available and used effectively, meet deadlines.  You will be responsible of with the group from the proposal stage to the execution as one point of contact.

 
A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
  • Operate and maintain Delphi daily, timely responses, coordinating and tracking sales enquiries, booking and availability.
  • Meet prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private functions, and corporate functions as needed.
  • Ensure a prompt and professional response or follow-up to sales enquiries, wedding show arounds and FAM trips.
  • Track, analyse and make recommendations on business conversion statistics.
  • Research competitors on Wedding trends, offerings, and pricing. Ensure the company remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
  • Ensure the whole client experience is successful and memorable and act as the brand ambassador and key contact throughout their journey  
 
What We need from you:
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field  
  • 5+ years total experience in planning and coordinating weddings & events
  • Direct supervisory experience over a sales/catering team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required  
  • Must speak local language(s)  
  • Other languages preferred
  • Attention to detail
