Wedding Sales & Event Planner – Create Unforgettable Moments!
Are you passionate about crafting extraordinary wedding experiences? We’re seeking a Full- Time Wedding Sales & Event Planner to join our vibrant team and play a vital role in making every couple’s dream day a reality.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Development Director, you’ll be at the forefront of our weddings segment, driving new and existing business while selling and planning exceptional events. From the initial consultation to the final moments of their special day, you’ll ensure a seamless experience that exceeds expectations.
You will act as the primary contact for detailed wedding planning, working closely with banquet operations, F&B management, reservations, rooms division operation, finance and external suppliers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Selling and Planning Weddings: Collaborate closely with clients to design and execute their perfect day, whilst meeting sales targets
- Event Attendance: Working closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth transition into their reception, ensuring a very smooth delivery and ultimate client satisfaction.
- Client Feedback: Follow up post-event to gather insights and enhance future experiences.
- Promotions: Represent the hotel at expos and events to attract and convert new wedding business.
- This role also offers exposure to a diverse array of events, including day meetings, gala dinners, social celebrations and seasonal festivities.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is able to work Full-Time (Tuesday - Saturday).
- Is approachable and genuinely passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
- Is dynamic, vibrant, confident, and professional.
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales or Meetings & Events/Weddings within Australasia, with proven success.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Thinks strategically and tactically, setting goals and meeting performance targets.
- Is detail-oriented, with exceptional communication skills and a high standard of presentation.
- Is flexible, available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Meets the legal requirements to work in this country.
