Located in the heart of the CBD, Ronnie's is a nostalgic Italian restaurant open for both lunch and dinner. The convenient location is close to all public transportation, including multiple tram lines and is just blocks from Southern Cross Station.
Ronnie's Melbourne is looking for experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual with a desire to work within the industry. You’ll be dealing with customers face to face so a friendly, warm, and welcoming character is a must!
Your day to day
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef, with a solid skill set, to lead kitchen activities on shift. You must have the ability to work across all sections in the kitchen and work closely with the Head Chef on menu development, costing and training. We are looking for a team player who is looking to develop further in their career and build with the team and the business.
What we need from you
As the successful applicant you will demonstrate:
- 3 years’ supervisory experience in kitchen operations and the ability to do all sections competently
- Passion for understanding WHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
- Ability to coach and mentor to build strength in the team
- Attention to detail and great time management skills
- Great attitude - optimistic, engaged, proactive, and flexible
- Must have Australian recognized Chef Qualifications
