As Security Supervisor, you are responsible to ensure a secure and safe environment for guests and staff as well as their personal belongings whilst on the premises. Also responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensure established position procedures, patrols and frequencies are followed.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained to ensure the safety and security of guests and associates
- Responsible for checking all fire, life safety equipment’s are within the expiry limits including hand held chemical extinguishers
- Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues by Safety & Security officers as they record them during their patrols
- Ensure random bag inspections of guests and associates entering and leaving the building or certain areas of the hotel are conducted appropriately
- Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent the assets being removed from the hotel without the proper authority
- Ensure perimeter patrols at points of entry and exits are carried out correctly to ensure that all people within the Hotel environments have a genuine purpose and are not loitering or are present for other reasons
- Conduct random inspections of the premises to ensure that safety and security practices are being followed e.g. fire exits are not blocked, equipment is not obstructing fire hose reel doors, clearance between stacked goods and sprinkler heads is sufficient
- Wears uniform with pride and honor
- Any other duties as assigned by the management
What We need from you:
● Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
● Higher secondary education qualification/equivalent in any discipline
● 2+ years total Security Supervisor experience at any hotels.
- Intermediate in MS Office Package
● Must speak local language(s)
