Duties and Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the sales department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Develop and drive sales strategies to ensure the properties achieve and exceed financial targets.
- Develop and implement the business plan to drive and maximize revenues.
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly targets and key performance indicators.
- Undertake advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, and work with the commercial director for sales budgets and rate setting.
- Constantly assess and review processes to remain relevant, innovative, and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for both properties and for Six Senses.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Results—driven and proactive with strong organizational and team management skills.
Qualifications
- To execute the position of Regional Director of Sales, I have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, hotel, or business management. Preferably, a Master's Degree
- Minimum of 5+ years in sales management within the luxury resort or hotel industry in a senior sales and marketing role.
