Due to growth in our region, we have a new Portfolio Revenue Manager position available within New Zealand or Australia. This role will be home based, working remotely supporting a portfolio of hotels which may vary from city hotels to luxury resorts which could include hotels within Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and / or South Pacific.

Your day to day
- Manage the revenue function across a portfolio of hotels, developing and managing short, medium, and long-term strategies for profitable revenue generation and capture.
- Pro-actively and cost effectively maximizing hotel room revenues, RevPAR and system delivery to achieve superior performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and against budget growth targets
- Develop strategies to achieve overall hotel revenue.
- Analyse competitor and market pricing and trends to create the right pricing strategy by segment and for each revenue stream
- Complete system health-checks
- Create and present revenue forecasts
- Prepare for and conduct Revenue meetings to identify risks and opportunities, potential revenue driving activities or strategic direction shifts
- Complete yearly budgeting for revenue streams along with the hotel team
- Analysis and report on EOM performance, pace and trends
- Participate in business review meetings with both corporate and owners as needed
- Support NHOP or conversion set-up as needed
What we need from you
To be successful in the role the following skills and attributes will be highly advantageous.
- University Degree or Hospitality Diploma/Degree
- Experience in a Revenue Management, / Reservations / Yield Management environment
- Experience in a variety of hotels and / or geographic locations
- Proven knowledge of Revenue Management Software Systems like Optims, Ideas, Rate360, IHG Concerto RMS.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to impact and influence remotely
- Excellent verbal communication, report writing and presentation skills.
- System and Technology savvy
- Knowledge of Property Management System such as Opera
