Role Purpose

Work as the Program Manager for IHG’s award winning SME Program, IHG Business Edge, in MLAC, aligning with the overall vision, objectives and goals of the Program in your market.  Ensure engagement with the Global program strategy. Grow the account base and associated revenue through key internal and external stakeholder management. The successful candidate will have experience in the Corporate Travel space in some capacity, a proven track record of managing projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the program, including designing, planning, budgeting, communications, enablement & support of the IHG Business Edge Program 
  • Manage the overall implementation of the program’s plan via comprehensive sales programs, promotions, advertisements, and communications, both internally and externally.  Work with key stakeholders including B2B marketing, Global Sales, Distribution & Relationship Marketing, Commercial, Regional teams, management companies and hotels.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as required. 
  • Create monthly reporting for Internal Stakeholders in order to determine success of the program and be able to react with additional hotel education, marketing or incentives.
  • Manage assigned BE Program regional Budget and ensure that expenses are within budgetary guidelines.
  • Serve as a key link between IHG and hotel sales to enhance communications and consistency and ensure objectives/needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all brands and regions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies.
  • Monitor and analyze BE customer spend to determine top potential accounts to engage with the customer and drive revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with direct experience in sales and marketing preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.   Proficiency in Business English is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Willingness to give & receive feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
