LifeGuard

Monitors the pool area in order to ensure users’ safety. 

Provides the first aid care before the emergency services’ arrival. 

Checks the emergency equipment provided, detects and reports any anomalies. 

Applies the intervention procedures in order to ensure users’ safety. 

Reminds the safety instructions and the hotel’s internal rules to imprudent users. 

Ensures a good communication with the pool users and resolves conflicts. 

Informs and advises users on the pool equipment’s use. 

Cleans the water from leaves and other items.  Sets up and clears away the long chairs and umbrellas. 

Listens to the pool users attentively in order to take their remarks and wishes into account and communicate them to his hierarchy. 

Reports any pool user complaint to his hierarchy and helps to resolve it. 

Uses his professional capacities to make sure pool users feel safe and at ease. 

Is responsible for the respect of his department’s equipment and furniture. 

Builds and maintains effective relationships with the other departments. 

Conveys the right values and the good behaviors in his service as well as towards his colleagues and his hierarchy. 

Informs the Management Team of any incident or problem that occurs during work hours, particularly those he is not able to solve or whose importance justifies it, whether it concerns work-related issues or employee-related problems. 

Applies procedures and policies within the hotel and all new procedures according to the management orders.

PROFIL : 

Up-to-date lifeguard/rescuer diplomas and swiss certifications (CAEP-MNS, BPJEPS – AAN, BNSSA, SSS Brevet Plus Pool/SSS Pro Pool, PSE 1, BLS – AED). 

Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a hotel establishment of the same category (4- or 5-star). 

Fluent French and English. Mastering a third foreign language of one of our target markets (Germany, China, India, Italy, Middle East, Netherlands, Russia) is highly desirable.​
