We are currently recruiting for a full time Housekeeping Ambassador (Laundry) to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.  

As a Housekeeping Ambassador you are responsible to lead the laundry functions for guest, colleagues and hotel linen and your role will include key responsibilities such as: 

  • Ensure a clean and tidy linen room at all times and report to the management if any items have been damaged (linen as well as uniforms).
  • Ensure linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events.
  • Receive records and oversee sorting of clean uniform from laundry and arrange them properly on the shelves and racks.
  • Schedules preventative maintenance of laundry equipment and co-ordinate with the engineering department for any maintenance issues.
  • Recommends equipment, linen and chemical purchasing needs to Department Head in budget preparation.
  • Assists in standardizing the method in which laundry tasks will be performed.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
