In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all guest experience tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.

I will assist to ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.

A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements.

All activities within the department will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.

An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback. I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.

I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the residences including all residences categories as well as their location and layout, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding. Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role: 

  • Monitor daily arrivals according to occupancy report in co-ordination with the Housekeeping Assistant Manager.
  • Handle and assist in department training and orientation of all new hosts and regular trainings to Housekeeping hosts to improve job performance, meet guidelines and standards of service and operation.
  • Demonstrate to Housekeeping hosts how to perform each task in job description according to hotel service standard. 
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of housekeeping functions.
  • Confirm daily arrivals in occupancy report to determine allocation of tasks for Housekeepers.
  • Supervise and inspect the work of Housekeeping hosts ensuring high standard of order, hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness and aesthetic value throughout all service areas and assist when necessary. 
  • Is responsible for the immaculate appearance of all areas of responsibility and cares for all details. 
  • Ensure apartment amenities and food amenities are placed in the room according to standard operating procedure during room inspection.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are labelled, recorded and stored with Housekeeping management.
  • Issue and control availability of master keys.
  • Respond to guest requests and immediately handles issues and feedback related to Housekeeping.
  • Monitor and schedule regular deep cleaning projects when required.
  • Ensure Housekeeping office and all storage facilities of housekeeping are kept in good condition and order.
  • Maintain stock level requirements of materials, equipment and general supplies and ensures requisitions are made as required.

To execute the position of Housekeeping SupervisorI have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively. 

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, Opera PMS and CRM platforms. I have good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.

I have a good command of written and spoken English and French. I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
