Key Responsibilities

Room & Public Area Cleaning

  • Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Replace linens and towels according to hotel standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
  • Ensure high-traffic areas remain tidy throughout the day.

Guest Interaction

  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests (e.g., extra amenities, directions).
  • Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor at all times.

Reporting & Safety

  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Log and handle lost & found items per hotel policy.
  • Follow established safety, hygiene, and security procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Team Collaboration

  • Assist fellow housekeeping team members during peak workload.
  • Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Minimum 12th pass (Higher Secondary).
  • Experience: Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
  • Language: Local language required; basic English preferred.
  • Physical Ability: Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 23 kg.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Other: Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold IHG service culture.
