The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $215,000.00 this is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than theposted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.  

**This job is also eligible for bonus pay.

Role Purpose

The Head of  Product Operations is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the VP Digital and Direct Channels in executing the team’s vision. This role combines strategic planning, project management, stakeholder management, and leadership to ensure that the organization’s goals are met effectively and efficiently. The candidate for this position will consolidate work currently being handled on an ad hoc/part-time basis by other individuals and it requires the creation, roll out, and adoption of new processes, ceremonies, and touch points. 
 

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Planning and Execution 

  • Lead the planning function for the Digital and Direct tower, including annual planning, budgeting, and regularly sharing updates and status reports on team progress 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set organizational priorities and ensure alignment with business goals 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance to inform strategic decisions 
  • Support the creation of business cases for new initiatives and coordinate the planning process for channel-wide projects 
  • Support the Contact Center’s unique planning needs related to its quarterly workforce management processes 

Special Projects Support 

  • On an as needed basis, lean in to oversee and support high-impact, cross-functional projects from conception through execution 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget 
  • Coordinate with various departments to align resources, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks 
  • Track progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to the executive team 

Operational Efficiency 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the organization 
  • Lead initiatives to optimize business operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity 
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational success and identify areas for improvement 

Executive Support and Decision Facilitation 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the VP, providing insights and recommendations on key decisions 
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, weekly updates, and other documents for executive meetings, team meetings, town halls, and board presentations. 
  • Run leadership team meetings, setting agendas and ensuring alignment and follow-through on action items 
  • Represent the VP in meetings, as needed, and ensure that the VP’s directives are executed effective

Education 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in any Business,  Strategy, Finance, Engineering Hospitality or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of progressive work-related experience, with preferred 3 years’ experience in strategy, project /product management, product development, marketing, or operations

 Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and leadership roles 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams 
  • Experience working closely with senior executives and managing confidential and sensitive information 
  • Proven ability to operate with a product mindset - delivering value to the customer, iteratively improving products, aligning business goals with customer needs, leveraging data and feedback to enhance the user experience, all with a focus on continuous improvement
