Job Description:
Leads key initiatives with senior level stakeholders (VP & above) or a large number of stakeholders (Directors) or significantly & regularly influences multiple key strategic initiatives that impact multiple sub-functions or business lines within the organization. Provides hands-on leadership to multiple technology teams, driving a culture of excitement and accountability that is intensely focused on the customer and business, as well as on delivering commitments.
Plans, organizes and leads large-scale, cross-functional programs within established schedules, budgets and manpower plans; establish goals, performance standards and operating procedures for assigned functions. Instills an approach of accountability by setting and delivering on goals for key metrics around performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction (both internal and external).
Establishes and maintains relationships with key global stakeholders and business partners to develop strong working knowledge of business functions and objectives. Influences teams outside of immediate organization to evolve their platforms to DevOps delivery model, using cloud-based platforms and technologies.
Responsible for establishing our development patterns, towards a more modern, cloud-based environment. Influences other teams to adopt DevOps practices and incorporate more automation in their delivery cycle. Defines ways to use technology to reduce costs and improve productivity to include implementation of new software, new modules, application upgrades, customizations, enhancements, re-engineering of systems and business process engineering.
Directs, monitors and mentors on methodology, tools, templates, standards, policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS/IT, Business Administration or Engineering or related field plus 12 years of experience in the job offered or 12 years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies or processes related to the position, as well as 7+ years of demonstrated experience establishing organizational structure and allocation of duties through management of subordinate teams.
The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science/MIS/IT, Business Administration or Engineering or related field plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or 10 years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies or processes related to the position, as well as 7+ years of demonstrated experience establishing organizational structure and allocation of duties through management of subordinate teams in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience.
The position requires experience with: Extensive experience in medium- large scale strategic partnerships including Vendor Management and navigating and managing Statement of Work (SOW) Relationships. Experience with global offshore solution delivery models.
Advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams. Understands technologies across one or more IT functions or services and possesses broad technical expertise in the area(s) led and the ability to identify and leverage technical experts.
Knowledge of industry standards and practices. Accustomed to working in an Agile delivery model and can lead a team to adopt best practices in this space. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA. *Supervises 9 employees*
