We need more amazing people just like you to help us bring our stunning hotel to life! We are seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team.

Your day to day

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be trained & engaged predominantly but not exclusively in the front office. This opens up a world of possibilities as you develop your mastery across the hotel including reception, concierge services & making reservations.

You will be on a rotating roster to ensure you continue to build on knowledge & skills in all areas and meet the needs of our guests and business. We’re all part of one team, so pulling together to support all departments (including housekeeping, maintenance and our functional areas when needed) is a natural part of this role.

What we need from you

Ideal candidates will come with Front Office experience using Opera is highly regarded however, we will still be considering those who bring a strong combination of experience, attitude and aspirations to grow. In addition we are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Guests will come to you with questions, concerns and compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories.
  • This role will work a rotating roster so it's important to know that weekends, public holidays and in some nights are all part of the job.
  • A team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise your own workload as well as jump in and help your colleagues as needed.
  • Fitness – you’ll be on your feet most of the day with bending and kneeling. 
  • Presentation is key – wear your uniform with pride.

Candidates must hold current Australian working rights suitable to the position to be considered.
