InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence.

Your role will be including but not limited to:

• Ensure to possess a thorough knowledge of electrical system of the property, the circuits, present loads and possible limits of new loads and adhere to the set standards.
• Perform work required for the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems for the property.
• Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment.
• Test electrical equipment, such as, motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions.
• Install fixtures and other electrical equipment.
• Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
• Ensure to possess the knowledge of the fire alarm systems and adhere to the same.
• Ensures that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy.
• Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment in use.
• Applies the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc).
• Support and follow energy saving initiative.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Previous experience of 1-2 years in a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.
