The General Manager role offers a rare opportunity to lead an opening team, crafting an exceptional legacy in a city where such grand openings are infrequent yet momentous. Your day-to-day:
• Drive the operational and cultural vision of the property with a high degree of self-sufficiency and self-leadership.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with ownership, aligning on strategic goals and delivering exceptional results.
• Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, ensuring presence and operational excellence.
• Spearhead the opening process with expertise, creating a seamless launch of this iconic property.
• Represent the hotel in the community, fostering partnerships with local businesses, chambers of commerce, and city leadership, including close collaboration with the mayor’s office.
• Uphold luxury standards in all aspects of service, operations, and guest experience.
What we need from you:
• A seasoned General Manager with proven openings experience in the luxury hospitality sector.
• A leader with strong connections to the community and the ability to engage with civic and business leaders at a high level.
• Deep understanding of finance, sales, and operations to drive performance and growth.
• Exceptional self-leadership, with the ability to manage a complex asset independently and effectively.
• An entrepreneurial spirit to not only maintain standards but to build and innovate for long-term success.
The salary range for this role is $200 to $225k. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
