The Food & Beverage Duty Manager is responsible for supervising breakfast and in-room dining operations, ensuring that all procedures meet high standards. They assist as needed to provide exceptional True Hospitality service to guests while maximizing departmental revenues and profits.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Maintain high standards in food and beverage service and lead the team in enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Handle all aspects of outlet preparation and ensure a visible presence during service to address needs.
  • Manage guest complaints, conduct routine inspections, and act on feedback to improve service.
  • Monitor budget, control costs, train staff, and oversee stock management and revenue generation.
  • Implement and maintain SOPs, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster effective team communication. 

What we need from you

  • Previous experience supervising people in a hotel environment
  • Must be available in the mornings. 
  • Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
  • Excellent Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories 
  • Fluency in English – extra language skills would be great, but not essential 
  • Compliant – you’ll be above the minimum age required and compliant with all federal, state and local laws
  • Strong – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs
