About Us

Ellis Hospitality is on the lookout for another "True" leader. We are in need of a General Manager to take the top job and make it their own. Taking ownership of the day-to-day hotel direction, maximizing financial returns, driving people development and empowering our team to create memorable guest experiences every step along the way.


Your day to day

The Hotel Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring smooth operations. This individual will work with the hotel's staff to uphold high standards of service and quality, and be personally responsible for inventory management, personnel issues and business administration. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in all aspects of hotel management and be a skilled communicator able to respond quickly to any issues.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect money from guests staying at the hotel.
  • Manage the hotel's advertisement and organize promotional events.
  • Manage employees' training and assignments.
  • Be responsible for proper communication with guests.
  • Responsible for proper cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Handle cashier job duties and manage the administration department.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Comply with Company Standards of Service.
  • Project a favorable image to the public at all times.
  • Treat guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform (or business dress for non-uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.
  • Develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships and the ability to relate well with a wide variety of individuals, many of whom will require patience and tolerance.
  • Know and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Knows and actively practices the hotels' emergency plan

 

 


What we need from you

Experience:

  • Hotel management: 2 years (Required)
  • Hospitality: 2 years (Required)

 

Ability to Relocate:

  • Lompoc, CA 93436: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: $61,784.00 - $79,900.00 per year
