Your day to day

To report for duty punctually wearing the correct employee fashion and name badge at all times
To do side duties as assigned on a daily basis by the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager
All equipment to be stored well and kept clean with monthly inventory.
To maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, and all other departments.
Encourage sales through great service at all times and all guest inquiries to be followed up to ensure business is not lost
Attends all daily briefings during working hours
Attends all scheduled trainings and meetings
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned.
Promote coffee consumption by educating customers by selling coffee, preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.

What we need from you

Welcomes guest by determining their coffee interest and need.
Educates guest by presenting and explaining the coffee drinks menu, answering questions.
Sells coffees by explaining differences in coffee beans.
To serve food and beverage to guests according to established performance standards.
To handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
To establish guest service standards which meet the needs of the target market and which are line with the operating concept of the restaurant.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
Should know all details of the food and beverage menus extensively.
Requisitions to be performed on time and accurately.
Reports any guest complaint to the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager
All tips from your section to be declared to the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager
Delivers comment cards from your station
Ensure proper rotation of all items in Outlet stores
Works in other Outlets as and when required
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
To have a complete understanding of the hotel's employee handbook and Adhere to the regulations contained within.
To respond to change in the departmental function as dictated by the industry, company or hotel.
Develops formal training plans and implements on the job training sessions for the employees and participates in the preparation of budget and goals.
To manage the outlet in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager
To work with the Outlet Chef of the kitchen assigned to prepare food items for the outlet.
To prepare with this Outlet Chef Recipes and specifications for canapés, snacks and other food Items.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading coffee, retail trade and food service publications, maintaining personal network
Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment  
All par stocks to be maintained
Reports all missing items
All maintenance issues to reported immediately
Control stocks for daily use to ensure service requirements are met.
To ensure that all operating standards comply with Company and Hotel Policies and Procedures and Minimum Standards
Generates revenues by attracting new guest, defining new and expanded services and product.
