Your day to day

The Asst. Credit Manager is responsible to assist in providing the below task;

·         Assist the Chief Accountant in overseeing the credit control and collections process to ensure the hotel’s financial policies are adhered to. 

·         Review and approve credit applications for new customers based on the company’s credit policies and procedures. 

·         Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices to maintain healthy cash flow. 

·         Analyze creditworthiness of customers by evaluating financial data and payment history. 

·         Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with clients to resolve payment issues promptly. 

·         Prepare accurate and detailed reports on credit status, collections, and accounts aging for management review. 

·         Liaise with internal departments, such as Sales and Front Office, to address billing discrepancies or disputes. 

·         Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations. 

·         Maintain and update customer credit files and records systematically. 

·         Act as a point of contact for external auditors during credit-related audits. 

·         Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit management processes and strategies to minimize bad debts. 

 


What we need from you

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit management or accounts receivable, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Prior experience working in a hotel environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and credit control procedures in the UAE.
