Your day to day
First impressions matter. To kick off a memorable experience for our guests, we are looking for a **Front Desk Agent and Rotating Cashier** who can handle transactions professionally, provide helpful local insights and anticipate any requests to make sure our guests feel at home. Every day is different, but for the most part, you will need to:
- Kickstart truly memorable experiences with the warmest of welcomes
- Recognize IHG Rewards Club members and regular guests, both in person and over the phone
- Obtain, manage and process guest reservation payments
- Perform continuous and efficient check-in and check-out operations
- Stay one step ahead of guest needs, anticipating requests and offering tailored recommendations
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for guests, helping them with everything from billing issues to restaurant suggestions
What we need from you
- Communication skills: Guests will come to you for both problems and compliments, so you must always be open to dialogue
- Your problem-solving skills will turn challenges into opportunities, ensuring every guest leaves with great memories
- Fluent in the local language and proficient in English, knowledge of other languages is appreciated but not essential
- Familiarity with Opera hotel management software is preferred
